Damascus steel is forged using an ancient technique that involves melting steel pieces in a charcoal fire. The blade is forged 5 times, starting from 9 layers of 1095 and 15N20, resulting in approximately 256 layers in the beautiful Raindrop Damascus pattern. The key to the sharpness of the blade lies in the blending process in a reducing atmosphere in an oxygen-lacking furnace. This is the primary reason why Damascus knives tend to stay sharper for a longer period of time.

The knife is 4.5" inches in overall length, with a blade length of 2.0" inches and a handle length of 2.5" inches. The knife weighs 2.8 oz or 80 grams, and the handles are made of natural camel bone. All of our ergonomically designed handles are handmade from Rams Horn, Camel Bone, Walnut Wood, with textured grips to prevent slipping while working.

The pure leather sheath of this Damascus steel knife is made of prime quality thick cow skin with durable double stitching and strong thick threads, along with rust-resistant brass buttons. This ensures that the precious Damascus steel knife is safely hosted in a high standard sheath.
